Materials and Caring for your Jewellery

We hope that you will wear your jewellery and enjoy it for many years to come and with love and care it will remain looking it's best.

All of our jewellery is sterling silver plated in 2.5microns of 14ct gold. This is the highest level of gold plating and is also referred to as silver vermeil. This ensures that we are striking the perfect balance of a high quality piece at an affordable price. With the correct care silver vermeil jewellery should look at its best for years to come.

Contact with cosmetics and perfumes should be avoided with all silver vermeil jewellery as this can cause accelerated wear and tear on the plating. Always remove your jewellery before swimming, showering or bathing.

When you are not wearing your jewellery please keep it in the pouch provided.

To clean wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Pearls

Special care must be taken with pearl set jewellery. Perfume, hairspray and other cosmetics should be avoided. When getting ready, putting your pearl jewellery on last will avoid this. When not wearing please keep your pearl jewellery in the pouch provided. Do not wear in water.

Diamonds

Diamonds are the hardest known natural material. However, beware, diamonds can still chip from a hard fall or impact and so take special care when wearing and ensure to keep them safely stored away in their original jewellery box.

We use diamonds with natural inclusions and colour for a vintage and understated look, as well as striking the balance of having the real deal at an accessible price.

To clean your diamond jewellery use a very soft toothbrush and a solution of washing up liquid in warm water. Do not soak your jewellery as this can increase the likelihood of the stones loosening.
